いやあ、準決勝のブラジル勢はすごい激闘でした。
（一部は日テレG+で放送されましたが、一部はまだ未放送。G+サン、遅いです）
生き残ったのは、サンパウロFC、我がインテル、チーバス・グアダラハラ（メキシコ）、そしてウニベルシダ・デ・チレ（チリ）の4チーム。
しかし、ブラジル勢に関しては、あっしも予想を外しまくりました。サンパウロＦＣはクルゼイロに余裕の勝利、インテルは奇跡的にエストゥディアンテスを撃破、そして、注目していたコリンチャンスを退けたフラメンゴが、まさかウニベルシダ・デ・チレにやらるとは。
準決勝はＷ杯後の7月末に行われる。
コロラードのあっしにとってはインテルが生き残ってくれてメチャクチャ嬉しいけど、昨年王者のエストゥディアンテスをよく突破できたなあと、いまさらながら、インテルの運の強さに関心する。統計的に見ても、今大会、インテルはアウェーでまだ一勝もできていない。
エストゥディアンテスとの2ndレグでも、前半から猛攻に晒され、立て続けに2点を入れられたときは、もう終わったと思いました。エストゥディアンテスはその後もゴールチャンスを創り出し、3点目を入れてもおかしくなかった。インテルは1stレグを1-0で勝っているからアウェーゴールがほしい。
けど、エストゥディアンテスの方もなぜか、二点目を入れた後、ゲームの主導権をインテルに渡してしまった。週末にクラウスーラの優勝を逃した影響なのか、昨年、クルゼイロを撃破した元気がない。後半43分にジウリアーノの劇的なアウェーゴールで、インテルが辛くも突破。
インテルの問題は前線にクォリティがないこと。アレクサンドロ、ヴァウテル、タイソン、エドゥ（元ベティス）...ヴァウテルとタイソンは生え抜きで期待したいところけど、やっぱ他チームと比べて、見劣るなあ。
準決勝の対戦相手はサンパウロFC。サンパウロＦＣも大会はじめは、あまり良くなかった。インテル同様、守備が安定しているおかげで辛うじて勝ち進んだ。クルゼイロとの準々決勝から、フェルナンドンが加入。ワシントンをサブに追いやって、いきなり前線でポンポンとポストプレーをこなし、スピード系のマルロスとダゴベルトにアシストを供給しはじめる。これってインテル2006のパクリじゃん！それまで好調だったクルゼイロをあっさりと葬り去ったところに、チームのノビを感じたよ。こんなに華麗さの無いサンパウロFCは久しぶりだが、この勝利で優勝候補だな。
なぜそっち側にいる、フェルナンドン？
補強と言えば、インテルも2006年リベルタ杯優勝メンバーのチンガを獲得。チンガはトッテナムに移籍するボランチのサンドロの後釜に。ヨーロッパシーズン開幕に向けて、おそらくエドゥがチームを去ることになるから、誰か強烈なネームを獲得する必要がある。ブラジルサッカーでも一、二を争う人件費といわれるインテルが、あのＦＷ陣では納得できない。今季もトップチームで有り続けるには、何か手をうたないと。
そして、フラメンゴ。このチームの波の激しさといったら...なぜ、マラカナンであっさりと負けて、アウェーのチリであの強さを見せられる？チリでは、アドリアーノの凄さを改めて見せつけられた。エンジンのかかったアドリアーノはロナウジーニョ同様に「フォラ・ジ・セリエ（規格外）」だ、実に惜しい才能だ。アドリアーノが丹念に努力するプレーヤーであったなら、ブラジルサッカー史に残るケタ外れのパワーフォワードになれた（すでにそうだけど...）世界最優秀選手にだって何度もなれた。フットボールの横綱になれた。
まあ、そうやって理屈通りにならないのが人生ですね。しかし、リベルタ杯準々決勝の劇的な試合の数々に興奮しました。
＊でも、それ以上に興奮したのは、ブラジル杯準決勝「サントスＦＣ×グレミオ」の2連戦。ブラジルサッカー好きの人は、いまのサントスFCを絶対見ないといけない。しかし、ものすごいチームが出来上がったものだ、バルサ以上に攻撃的なサッカーです。
