実は、あっしのモチベーション維持方法というか、これからポルトガルモード、フェリポンモードに入っていく下準備でした。

たかがトルシェの発言といいたいところですが、この下り：

“…ボールを取りにいくサッカー、相手にプレスをかけるサッカーは得意ではない。”

この点は、意外と的を得ていたりして。だからといって、他の守備の仕方もあるけど。ここに、セレソンがさらに強くなれる可能性があったりも、するんですよね。

まあ、次のセレソンは、メンツが代わるだけじゃなく、スタイル的にも進化することを望むばかりですね。

フランス人は、ジダンが去ったあとの事を心配してればいい。

ポルトガルなんかはバランスが良かったかも。
逆に日本は年齢差４歳の間に選手がギュっと固まっていた。
年代がかなり↑の中山ゴン、ラモスさんみたいなカリスマがいればもっとまとまったかもしれないですね（これは自分の中ではドゥンガの必要論にも通じる）

ロベルト・カルロスは、「スカイスポーツ」にて「代表でのプレーはもう行わない。フランス戦が僕にとって最後の試合だ」とコメントしたそうですね。

ジュニーニョも決断したようで、ちょっと前まで代表でプレーした選手が代表のユニフォームを着なくなるのは不思議な感じがします・・。

なんかカフーが続けようとしてますけど、このおじさんいなくてもブラジルには良いラテラウいっぱいいますし。

ロナウドの合宿合流時の体重が95kgらしかったです。それで、大会中「絞った、絞った」ってフィジカル・スタッフが自慢するんですけど、記者陣がしつこく訊いてみたら、「90kg」だ、って。それまではFIFA公式の記録には82kgで登録してるのに…
みんな愕然…マズイでしょ、それは。

当のロナウドは大会中「なんで、そんなに僕の体重が気になる？」って逆ギレしてたけど、いまとなっては、いったい、何をやって、大事な大会前にあんなに太ったんだ、と国民は容赦なしです。

このテーマは、ロナウドが帰国すれば、いずれ、とことん追求されるはず。国会で詰問（ウソ）。

ロナウドを信じていたからこそ、人々は裏切られた気分です。彼が責任のある選手なら、この件について、国民に謝罪すべきだと、あっしも思います。

オシムさんを連れてきたジェフの祖母井さんみたいな人は稀で半分以上は選手時代の実績やツテだけで決めているのが実情です。

監督の強い信念が反映されるようなチームが必要なんでしょうね。スター選手のその日のやる気に左右されるようでは、応援するこっちも、やってられないですよ。

ただし、ここしばらくは、低迷することも覚悟しないといけないですね。

ああ、それに、トルコでのジーコの活躍に期待したい。いきなりチャンピオンズ・リーグだし。

彼もやっぱり、監督としての力不足を感じたのでしょう。それを乗り越えようと努力するから、我々も応援したくなる。自然の成り行きです。

フランスの先制点だって、アンリの単発プレー。デコはマークされましたが、随所、良いプレーをしていました。良かったのは、ジダンにやらせなかったことでしょうか。セレソンの中盤もあれぐらいはやって欲しかった。

しかし、ポルトガルはパウレタがダメでしたねえ、。あそこもＦＷ不足、残念でした。

でも、後出しジャンケンな感じですが、個人的にはこうなる予感もけっこうあったのです。
Ｗ杯で勝つのは、勝利への渇望が深いチームですよね。この20年、勝つのは前大会で勝利と栄光をつかみ損ね、大きな失望を味わった中心選手のいるチームばかりです。
86年はマラドーナ、90年はマテウス、リトバルスキー、94年はドゥンガ、ジョルジーニョ、ブランコetc.、98年はデシャン、02年はロナウドとリバウドetc.
W杯のような能力的には紙一重のチームがそろう一発勝負で、最後に勝敗を分けるのは、勝利への意欲なのでしょう。そして勝利のために、レギュラーだ、記録だ、といった事柄への拘泥を忘れさせるほど一つにまとまったチームこそが勝てるのだと思います。そのときには、守備の文化だ攻撃だ、といった議論は二の次なのでしょうね。

その点、イタリアのリッピ監督は、決勝まで来て満足することはない、より貪欲な者が勝つのであって、そしてそれはイタリアなのだ、と語っています。さすが物事を深く洞察していると思いますね。
