いまある疑問は、

・中盤の最後の選手に、ヒカルジーニョ？または、仰るとおり、バチスタまたは、アレックス（フェネル）
・左SBにジウベルト、グスターボ・ネリまたは誰も呼ばれない
・4人目のCBにルイゾン、クリス（リヨン）またはアレックス（PSV）
・3人目のキーパーにゴメス（PSV）、マルコス（いまパルメイラスでサブ）、またはホジェリオ・セニ

といった、それぞれのセクションの最後の１枠だけに疑問が及んでいるという完成ぶり、意見の一致ぶりのようです。

確かに、こんなことは、あっしの知る限りでも、一度もなかった（ロマーリオ連れてけ、だとか、ロナウドは無理だとか、いつもあった）

31歳で良いなら左SBにシウビーニョ呼んで頂けないでしょうか。
若干背後が寒くなる時ありますけど、経験豊富だし、セルタじゃCBもやってユーティリティーもあるし、キックの精度も高いし、ロナウジーニョとの連携もばっちりなので、ロベカルが疲れたら是非使って欲しいです。

という声がパヘイラさんに届く様に、手紙をビンに詰めて太平洋に流しました。

いやあ、おめでとうございます！そちらにも、祝福に行きます。

シウビーニョ、たしかに良いですねえ。ルシェンブルゴ政権、レオン政権の00年ごろは、呼ばれてました。

ロベカルの陰で、消えていった名左SBたちは無数いますねえ。フェリッピ、セルジーニョ、アチルソン、デデ(ドルトムンド)など。SBってのは、一枠しかないから、ある意味、一番残酷なポジションかも。

ホッキ・ジューニオルの賛否は、ブラジルでも真っ二つに割れるようです。あっし自身は、彼はいざというときに大仕事をするタイプだな、と思ってます。02年W杯の決勝の対ドイツ戦、05年コンフェデ杯決勝の対アルゼンチン戦など、一番、緊張する試合で完璧にシャットアウトできる。

かとえいば、ブンデスリーガの普通の試合で、見るに堪えない緩慢なプレーをしたり、なにかと不思議な選手。でも、最近は怪我もあり、しごく評判悪いっすね。

とりあえず、レギュラーはチームメートのフアンに決定らしいですよ。

マルコスやっと怪我が治ったばかりだから呼ぶ必要があるのか疑問ですし。

GKの立場からするとああいうDFは怖いです、正直。
ここW杯までの試合で彼のGKエリア前のファール多いですから。
無難にクリスとアレックスを呼ぶべきです。

パレイラと大きく違うのは
まずロベカルに控えを呼んでいないこと、いざとなったらゼ・ロベルトでも行けますよね？９８年サブだったし。
次はリカルジーニョじゃなくてバプチスタを呼んでいること。彼は４年後のためにも呼んでおいた方がいいと思う。これはPSVの二人にも言えること。
リバウドを入れたのは、ずば抜けた候補がいないなら経験を重視してみたいな感じかな…

攻撃性の高いリストですね。リバウドとアレックスがいたら面白いし、彼らのうち一人は調子の上がらない、ロナウドかアドリアーノの代わりに、と考えてしまいますが、

でも、パヘイラはそういった冒険は絶対しない気がしますね。

リバウド自身、セレソンに戻りたいと言ってますが、それなら、注目されないギリシャ・リーグになんか居てはダメだよ、とあっしは念じ続けた。彼は、02年Ｗ杯後、チームの選択を誤りすぎた。

と同時に、カカやアドリアーノが台頭してきて、チームは彼を必要としなくなった。

アレックスの問題は、みんなも分かってることで、守備面で貢献できないこと。ロナウド、ロナウジーニョを抱えたチームに、もう一人守備のできないトップ下はいらない、といった感じでしょうか。だから、守備のできるヒカルジーニョやバチスタに絞られるんでしょうね。ここ2年で、アレックスがパヘイラの構想から外れていくのが、手に取るように、わかりました。あっしも、凄い選手だとは思いますが。

リバウドは栄冠を手にしたけど、アレックスは可哀想。

ただ、記事内容にあるように、もし、パヘイラが大会中、チームに変化を加えるとすれば、どういうことなんでしょうかね。

この前の、ロシア戦の3ボランチ（ジウベルト・シウバ、ゼ・ロベルト、エジミウソン）が気になったりも、するんですよね。

ひょっとして、調子の悪いＦＷを一人外して、南米予選初期の4-3-2-1を復活させるか、バルサの真似して、4-3-3の3トップでいきそうな、気がしなくもない。その場合、左ロナウジーニョ、真ん中ロナウド（アドリアーノ）、右ホビーニョのようなこともありえるかも。

バルサにあって、セレソンに無い人材が、デコ。

僕昔Jスポーツでブラジレイロン見てたんですが、今は解約しちゃって見れなくなっちゃいました。だから国内組のネリーやヒカルジーニョ、マルコスの現状がいまいち…
そのせいで上の２３人見てもわかるように全員海外組です。しかしいくら人材の宝庫のブラジルでもこんなことなかったですよね！？
話変わりますが、昨日TSUTAYAで７０年ブラジル代表の特集のビデオを借りてきました。確かにテクニック（特にトラップ）はすごかったけど、今の代表と勝負させたら勝てないと思います。ゲームスピードやフィジカルが話になりません。確かに直接比較するのはいけないけど、改めて今日のハイスピードのサッカーであれだけの技術を発揮できるセレソンは史上最強だなって思いました。８２年のチームもパスワークやスピードに関しては目を見張るものがありますが、CFのセルジーニョが足を引っ張りすぎました。カレッカとヘイナウドが怪我してなかったらもうエクサ達成してましたよ！
現にすごいチームを目の当たりにしても、今だからあまりすごさが実感できません。２０年後になって語り継がれるような伝説のチームなんだろうと思いながら応援したいと思っています。

ブラジレイロンはjsposrtsでもやってなく、スカパーのブラジルチャンネルのみのようです。

でも、70年代、82年代と、よく観てらっしゃるじゃないですか。

それで、ひとつ、比較論について、あっしの考えを言うと、わかってらっしゃると思いますが。

・ある時代のチームと、現在のチームは同じ尺で比較できない。

ブラジル・サッカーに限っていえば、７０年代のセレソンは当時のサッカーで世界最強だった。いま、０６年のセレソンはまだそれを証明しなければ、ならない。

だから、０６年のセレソンを７０年のセレソンの上に置くことは、できない。

もし、タイムマシーンがあって、いまの０６年セレソンを７０年にトランスポートしたなら、確かに一回目は勝つでしょう。

でも、逆に、７０年のセレソンを現代に連れてきたら、昔の選手たちは速やかに、今のスタイル（あくまでも、速く走り、強くぶつかり、といった要素が）にフィットして、たぶん同じように無敵になると、あっしは勝手に思います。

スペースの無さ、９０分間走り続けるフィジカル、といった「尺」は今のサッカーしか知らない人のものだから、

ジーコたちがしきりに言う「タレント」こそ、ブラジルで称えられる「クラッキ」こそが、普遍的な尺だと、あっしは思います。「タレント」はどんなサッカーでも、それを超えることができる、いや、それを変えられる。

マラドーナがいまのサッカーで現役だったら、たとえば、チェルシーのようなチームのディフェンスを、はじめは戸惑うかもしれないけど、結局、すぐに相手のスタイルを理解して、ボコボコにしてしまえると思う。それが、「天才」ってものだから。

さらに、ここでも議論を重ねてきましたが、今のサッカーは、７０年代、８０年代、９０年代のサッカーを土台にしてある。

０６年のセレソンは、たとえば、７０年、８２年のセレソンの成功と失敗の延長線上にある、のは間違いない。先人がいなければ、ロナウジーニョも、カカも、ロナウドも、アドリアーノも、ホビーニョも、誰もいなかった。

その証明に、ロナウドの才能を最初に見出したのは、ジャイルジーニョなのは周知ですよね。それは、ジャイルジーニョこそが、ロナウドのスタイル（フィジカルが強いうえ、スピーディーなドリブラー）の良いところに気づき、そこを伸ばすよう、アドバイスしたから。ついでに、ホビーニョの最高の理解者はペレ。

ロナウジーニョのプレーも、実は、そんなに目新しいものはない、あの「エラスチコ」もリベリーノが７０年W杯の決勝戦で使ってるし、ロマーリオやデニウソンのようなプレーも多い。

なぜ、今回、こんなに、タレントが揃ったのか？輩出されるタレントの数に波はあるけど、それは、偶然ではない。

逆に、当時のジェルソンのロングパス、トスタンの高い戦術理解度、リベリーノの爆発的な展開力、ペレ、ジャイルジーニョ、彼等こそ、すごく独創的で新鮮だったと思いますよ。

まあ、とにかく、あっしは、７０年のセレソンが０６年のセレソンに負けるとは思わない。

では１００歩譲って、今のサッカーはすべての面で進化しているから（確かにフィジカル・コンディショニングという意味では、天地のごとく進化した）、昔のサッカーには負けない、という発想に立ってみるとする。

そしたら、悲しいことに、今のサッカーについて議論すること自体、無意味になってしまう。なぜなら、３０年後のサッカーの方が、確実に進化して、今よりも強いはずだから。

オヤジになったSELECAOさんが、若い子にこう言われる「２０３６年のセレソンの方が、２００６年のセレソンよりも、すべての面で進化していて、断然強いよ！」って、想像できますか。

フッチさんのコメントを読ませていただいて、時代的な比較と継承の問題は、他の分野に置き換えても同じことがいえるのだなぁ、と、とても興味深く思いました。
例えば、科学の歴史や、社会思想の歴史でも同じことがいえると思います。私たちは、先人たちの偉大な業績の上に、物を覚え、習い、改良して実践しているのであって、ある時代に屹立した才能の貢献を抜きに、現代と将来を語ることはできません。
そして同時に、現代のものの考え方が、過去より単純に優れているとは必ずしもいえないと思います。

「巨人の肩の上で」という言葉があります。私たちは、過去の巨人たちの肩に乗ることができるので、彼らと同じような地平まで見通すことができる。ひょっとしたら、彼らより少し遠くまで見えるかもしれない。

偉大なサッカーの先人たちが残した過去と現在から、願わくば、これからのサッカーのよりよい姿を見通してみたいものですね。

ほんと、色んな事に通用するテーマですよね。ちょっと、サッカーの話題を外してみて、

・ビートルズがいまデビューしたら、売れてたか？とか
・第二次大戦の戦闘パイロットたちは、いまの空中戦で闘えるか？
・昔の学生は、今の受験戦争を勝ち残れたか？

とか、キリがない。才能ある人は、その時代、その時代で突出した成果を上げられるから、環境が変わっても、それに適応できるだけでなく、変革までもたらせる、と凡人のあっしは思いたい。

スポーツ、とりわけ、サッカーなどの球技の良いところは、勝者、敗者が一応、決まるから、才能を証明しやすい。他の文芸・社会経済や科学では、必ずしも優劣のはっきりした結果がでないから、「この才能こそが優れていた」というのは、難しいですよね。

実験室の片隅で、宇宙の原理を予測したアインシュタインとか、生涯たった1枚の絵しか売らなかったゴーギャンとか、後から天才の称号がついてくる人も中には、いますが。

あっしの興味は、こうした才能たちが、当時、与えた衝撃というものを、肌で感じることはできなくても、頭でいいから理解できないものだろうか、ということです。

まあ、ブラジル・サッカーに話を戻せば、ブラジルの年配者に「いまのセレソンは過去最高ですよね」なんて、言おうもんなら、鼻で「フッ」って笑われると思うな。後から、ビデオでしか観てない、あっしも含む若輩者には太刀打ちできない。伝統っつうのは、そういうもんす。

ところで先ほどイングランド代表が発表になりましたね、ご覧になりました？エリクソンのなんとも大胆な決断を！
個人的なスキャンダルが絶えないから彼に対してあまりいい印象は持っていなかったけど、心から応援したくなりました。
イングランド史上稀に見る豪華のメンバーに若い刺激が加わったチームならひょっとしたら…って考えちゃうとブラジルファンとしてはとても不安になります（>_

セレソンの比較について僕の意見をもう少し。誤解していた方が多数いたようなので。
もちろんロナウドをスカウトしたジャイルジーニョの先見の明はすごいし（彼自身すごいプレイヤーでもあったと思う）、ジェルソンのロングパスもリベリーノのエラシコやフリーキックも当時では他を遥かに凌駕していたのも明らかだ（むしろ今でも十分すぎるくらい通用する）。ボランチの原型となったクロドアウドのプレーも、偉大なるカピタンのカルロス・アウベルトのキャプテンシーも、とにかくあのチームには華があった！そこに２０世紀最大のクラッキであるペレが加わったときのポテンシャルは計り知れないものがあったし、彼らは実際それだけの結果を出して見せた。だから僕は彼らにはいつもとても敬意を表しているつもりです。
今のプレーヤーのテクニックやアイデアの多くは前人から盗んだものだというのもまったくその通りだと思う。ただ、僕が言いたいのはどちらがより才能を持っていたのかではなく、真っ向勝負させたらどちらが勝つか、である。
アインシュタインを持ち出したり、ビートルズを持ち出したりするのは勝手だが、才能と能力を誤解していないでしょうか？
紀元前にピタゴラスを発見したピタゴラスはすごい、だが今では中学受験で習う小学生もいるくらいだ。微積分を発明したニュートンもすごい。だがドイツのライプニッツも同時に独自に考案していたということは何を意味するだろうか？僕が言いたいのはニュートンが仮に生まれていなかったとしても、代わりに誰かがその偉業を成し遂げていたということだ。これは別にニュートンをけなしているのでもなんでもなく、真理を言っただけなのだ。さらに極めつけはみなさんが迷信してやまないアインシュタインという天才も、決して独力ではなく、ローレンツやマイケルソン、モーレーら先人の成果に啓発されてあの相対性理論にたどり着いたということを知っている方はどれだけいらっしゃるでしょうか？実験での証明もしっかりなされ、大学の物理学科の生徒でも習う量子力学を、彼は死ぬまで受け入れなかったんですよ！これは彼に才能がなかったわけでは決してなく、当時の時代背景によるものだ。
サッカーのブログなので話を戻しますが、フットサルの世界最優秀選手であるファルカンなどはいい例だ。去年サンパウロに一時期在籍して試合にも出してもらった、だが結果はどうだったか？これもブラジルサッカーに詳しい人なら周知ではないだろうか？もちろんボールが違うわけだから、当然フットサルのように自由自在にコントロールできなくなる。さらに、体当たりのない世界からいきなり激しいチャージを受けて思うようにプレーできるわけがない。７０年のセレソンはファルカンみたいなクラッキがたくさんいたような気がする。
何度も言うが、僕は今のセレソンのクラッキたちが７０年のよりも優れているとは言っていない（劣っているとも言ってないが）、ただサッカーも他のもの同様、進化し続けるものだから、当然今のセレソンが戦術的に、フィジカル的により合理的な戦い方をしておかしくないわけだ。
だからって２０１０年はもっと強くなるかは別問題だと思う。実際８２年を境に８６年、９０年とどんどんセレソンのパフォーマンスが落ちていった。ただ全体の流れとしてサッカーはより合理的（これも時代ごとに基準が異なるのだが）になって、勝負という観点だけで言うなら強くなるのは当たり前であって、今のチームを賞賛することは伝統を否定することでも侮蔑することでもないということだ。

SELECAOさん、

イングランドの暫定メンバー発表の件ですよね、

いやあ、また否定的なコメントになりますが、所詮はあっしの考え、「訳のわからない選定だな、と」

向うの内情は、まったくと言っていいほどわかりませんが、なぜ「暫定リスト」なるものを発表する必要があった？

それに、「ルーニーの回復を期待する」はよし、「17歳のウォルコット（存在をはじめて知った）を行かせる」もよし、

でも、両方を同時にやることは、どうか。オーウェン不調、ルーニー不調（彼もＷ杯の経験はない）、でやむをず17歳のウォルコットをスタメン。もしも、彼にチームの命運を預けるような事態になったら？伝統あるイングランド・サッカーを見渡したあげく、17歳の少年に頼るしかない、という事態でいいのか。

ま、暫定リストですから、こんな議論事態、尚早なんですが。いずれにしても、中盤に経験者が揃っているイングランド代表は優勝候補に違いない。

ちょっと、イジワルな見方をして、長嶋茂雄の言葉を借りれば、彼等で勝手に「メイク・ドラマ」してる気がしなくもない。

たしかに、SELECAOさんの、考えに対して、少し過剰に反応した分はあります。

でも、これが、あっし個人のサッカーに対する見方です。この見方に基づいて、このブログを立ち上げているんだな。

もう、おっしゃるとおり、今のサッカーの方が、断然、ゲームとして合理的なのは認めます。この「合理的」という言葉自体、近年、流行った言葉なのではないか、と思っています。

あっしが問いたいのは、この「合理的」という思考自体が、サッカーのなかで普遍的な価値でいいのか、ということです。

昨日、ジダンのベルナベウ最終試合となりましたが、あれほど素晴らしい選手なら、30年前、20年前のサッカーでは、さらに4,5年はプレーできたかも。

ゲームは合理化されても、我々サポーターは、どんどんクラッキの数が減っていくのを眺めているような気がする。とくに80年代と、今を比べれば、いかに「天才」が減少したかが、わかると思います。（まあ、ヘタな選手もギョウサン居ましたが）

あっしは一サッカー・ファンとして、ゲームに夢を求めたい、夢がなければ、サッカーは観るに値しない。

今の選手の多くは、無理してトップスピードでなんでもかんでも、やろうとして、みっともないミスや、ぶつかり合いのオンパレード。そんなものに金を払って観たいとは、思わないス。

ファルカン選手がフルコートで成功しなかったことは、ブラジル国内では、みんな悲しみました。みんな彼に期待していたから、逆に「今のサッカーが悪い」という結論に達した。誰もファルカンに能力が備わっていないとは思わなかった（レオン監督以外は）。

先日、サンパウロＦＣのゴウベア会長が任期を終えて退任会見を開きましたが「私の運営で唯一、心残りなのは、ファルカンをフルコートで成功させてあげられなかったこと」と言ったことには驚きました。自慢話ばかりすると思ったのに。みんな、一丸となってファルカンに賭けていたんだな、と。

これからも、サッカーが素晴らしいゲームでありつづけるには「タレント」に期待するしかない、「タレント」こそが、あっしにとって普遍的な価値です。だから、あっしは今も昔も関係なく「タレント」のみを追っかけていくつもりです。

それで、SELECAOさんに答えてほしいのですが、７０年のメンツに、いま現在のサッカーのフィジカルと戦術理解度が備わったなら。つまり、「尺」を同じにすれば、なぜなら、それこそが正当な比較というものだから?それでも０６年のセレソンの方が強いと言いきれますか？

僕はそれでも今の代表が勝つと思います（接線にはなるが）。７０年の代表は守備に大きな不安を抱えていました。ピアザとブリトのコンビがルシオ、フアン（最終ラインにフアンを抱えている（笑）！）よりも優れたタレントであったとは思わないし、年齢的な衰えが隠せないにしろ、ロベカルがエヴェラウドに劣るとも思えません。そして一番穴として指摘されたキーパーのフェリックス、今で言ったら控えの控えの控えの…ファビオ・コスタといい勝負ってところでしょうか。
ところでポケブラスのブラジルサッカーニュースによると、マルコスがインタビューに「絶望した」と答えているようですが、本当なんでしょうかね？僕としては彼じゃなくて将来の守護神候補のゴメスに経験を積ませるべきだと思いますが、２００２はマルコスの活躍なしには優勝できていなかったなって思ったりちょっと複雑な気持ちです。
雑誌ドリームイレブンでロマーリオが現代表ベストイレブンに選んだロジェーリオ・セーニも不世出の奇才だと思うけど、彼とマルコスはすでに優勝を経験しているので、パレイラもここは若いジュリオ・セザールとゴメスにチャンスを与えるべきですよね？GKが全員ヨーロッパ組ってブラジル史上初じゃないかな？

ワールドカップも残り１ヶ月を切りました。そこでみなさんにこんな議題を提供してみたいと思います。反響があるかどうかもわからないし、意味のあるものかどうかもわかりませんが…
みなさんワールドカップは世界一のチームを決する場だと思いますか？？
もちろん７試合を勝ち抜いて頂点に立ったチームだから強いに決まってる、ただ今までの優勝チームを振り返ってみたとき、それまでの４年間で無敵を誇っていたチームが勝ったという例はいくつあったでしょうか？むしろ４年間の紆余曲折を経て、それがワールドカップというサッカーの品評会で実を結び、その後の４年間の世界のサッカーのスタイルを方向を決め、自らその先頭に立ってリードしていくというのが多いような気がします。
最近で言うと、９４年WCを制したブラジルはロナウドという天才の台頭でRoRoコンビを結成し、９６年から無敵を誇り、９７年にワールドカップが開かれたら間違いなく優勝していたといわれている。実際現代表と同じくコパアメリカとコンフェデの二冠に輝いている。
９８年WCを制したフランスもしかり。カントナ、ジノラに見切りをつけ、国民の反対を押し切ってジダン中心のチームをつくったジャケ。それが見事に実ったのはむしろユーロ２０００や０１?０２シーズンの三大リーグにおけるフランス勢の大活躍だったんじゃないでしょうか？
